Tayo was a banker up until September 2002 when he decided to actualise his dream of developing Treasurers and Treasury departments by giving full attention to financial markets capacity building (empowerment).
His quest for bigger challenges and unfettered access to sound treasury practices fired his enthusiasm for higher responsibilities and better exposure whilst in banking. He was appointed at various times as the Market Risk Management Officer in FSB International Bank Plc (now Fidelity Bank Plc) in 1996; Head, Currency Trading in Lead Merchant Bank (which later became Leadbank) in 1999 and Head, Access Bank Treasury in 2000.
He served as a committee member of Money Market Association of Nigeria – MMAN (now Financial Markets Dealers Association – FMDA) from 1999 and 2002. Between 2000 and 2002 he single handedly anchored the in-house treasury training for new hires with unparalleled passion during his stay in Access Bank, making positive impact on the careers of the budding trainees.
Tayo made valuable contributions in the development and production of financial markets modules. He plays active roles in harnessing the relationships between the CBN, other regulators and market operators via workshops and other activities that support actualising the dream Nigerian financial markets, in line with the reforms and development imperative in Nigeria.
He has considerable exposure to international treasury standards and practice.
Tayo is presently the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of FDHL
Ayo has over 16 years experience in the financial services sector with the last four in core asset management. He started out his career with Access Bank Plc where he was involved in different functions including software support, commercial and corporate banking. He was at various times head of foreign currency trading and treasury operations. He set up the e-business & cash management unit in Access Bank in 2004.
He left Access Bank as an Assistant Manager in 2005 to join Leadway Pensure PFA as a pioneer staff. He had the oversight function for the Asset Management Group where he was responsible for the set up of the money market, public equity and fixed income desks. He also spearheaded the implementation of the fund administration and management software.
While at Leadway Pensure, Ayo successfully executed the first “repo” transaction done by a PFA in 2006. In light of the significant success achieved in the set up of the Asset Management Group at Leadway Pensure PFA, Ayo was transferred to Leadway Assurance Company, the parent company, in 2007 to set up a proper investment management division with an expanded coverage to include buy-side private equity investing and fund management.
He has a Masters in Finance from London Business School, a Post-graduate Certificate in Business Administration from Edinburgh Business School and a B.Sc. in Physiology, from the University of Ibadan.
Femi started his career in January 2005 with CETEP Group of Companies as a Business Development Officer where he was tasked with the responsibility to start-up another income-generating subsidiary of the group and nurtured it to maturity. It became profitable and had employed 20 staff within 2 years. He rose to become a Manager within 3 years and ensured the subsidiary had a minimum annual turnover of N50Million. Afterwards, he furthered his career by taking up an employment with Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS) as an Assistant Revenue Manager where he was saddled with the responsibility of tax enlightenment and audit.
He left LIRS in 2010 for FDHL in pursuit of a more robust financial service oriented experience as Head, Finance. He currently heads the Operations and Corporate Development department with the responsibility for business and strategy development for the firm’s operations. Femi is passionate about Business Performance Management & Budget Monitoring and has a vast experience in Leadership, Accounting, Finance and Administration.
He holds an MBA from University of Lagos, Akoka and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). He is also an associate member of the Institute of Loans and Risk Management (ILRM).
Augustine has over nine years financial services experience. He started his career in January 2007 with Bank PHB Plc. (now Keystone Bank Ltd.) and worked in the Corporate Banking Group before being transferred to the Wealth Management Group in April 2007 where he worked for 4 years as a Business Development Officer and contributed to making it one of the best performing groups in the bank within 2 years of operation.
Augustine joined the Marketing Group of FDHL in May 2011. He was redeployed to the Consulting Group in September 2012. His focus is presently on business development and execution of treasury, risk management and technology mandates.
Augustine holds a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Benin. He also holds a Certification in International Investment Management from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, UK.
Mayowa started his career with Linkpoint Resources Ltd. as a Database Administrator. He joined FDHL in 2007 as a research analyst covering foreign exchange markets and macroeconomies. He later joined the Consulting Group in 2011.
Prior to joining the Consulting Group, he was Head, Markets where he provided the necessary leadership in the presentation of Financial Markets Diagnosis & Outlook, Practical ALCO Effectiveness Program and development of the financial markets web-based portal amongst other functions.
Mayowa is a subject-matter expert in market risk management techniques and key contributor to the design and implementation of FDHL’s parametric, historic and monte carlo simulation templates on Value at Risk.
He holds a degree in Mining Engineering and is an Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Oracle University USA.
Bimpe started her career in January 2002 with Guaranty Trust Bank PLC where she worked in the bank’s Advantium Banking Group (retail banking) in different capacities including pioneer Head, Ikosi-Oregun branch.
She has vast experience in leadership, sales, marketing and relationship management and joined FDHL in June 2013 as the Head of Corporates and Public Sector (CPS) with the responsibility for business development and strategy of the firm’s corporate and public sector clients. She has been instrumental in big ticket wins for FDHL. She is currently the Program Director of FDHL.L&D.
Bimpe holds a B.Sc. in Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife and is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
Olatunbosun started his career with FDHL Support Service Group in 2017 and works in treasury department with responsibility of providing financial and management reports, monitoring of cash flows and investment, processing of transactions, ensuring timely remittance of statutory deductions, supporting in budget preparation and control.
Prior to joining FDHL, he was the financial secretary of Nigeria Association of Agricultural Economist (OAU chapter), where he prepared financial reports, collected monthly dues, and kept all financial transaction records by the association.
Olatunbosun have strong passion and interest in financial management and financial reporting with sound understanding of accounting techniques which had earned him a certificate of achievement in financial accounting by ACCA.
He is a professional student’s member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA). He has an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business awarded by ACCA and holds a B. Agric. in Agricultural Economics, from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
